This print is my second one inspired by the London venue Raymond Revuebar. The first one caught a moment, a long time ago: Two men leaving the club, looking sheepish in the London night.

Of course Soho has changed a lot since then, and this club has closed. There is a new venue with a different name in the same place, and all that remains now is the huge neon sign above.

So this is based on a recent picture of the sign, capturing the faded glory of London’s red light district. it is colourful and brash, a vibrant relic of another era.
