A long exposure, a passing car, the light of a dusky evening- the conditions are perfect for an uncanny image of fireflies in the witching hour.

There was something magical about this photo, so I didn’t need to do too much when working on the digital mock-up: just let the image be. it fitted very well with the themes and ideas I have been exploring recently:

The landscape is dissolving into an almost abstract image , the contours of the world almost disappearing.

The light writes itself onto the background, the halftones like atoms of colours dancing on the page.
