Portrait Commissions
I now offer Portrait Commissions!
The offer is simple: get your portrait (or the portrait of a loved one, or even a pet) in a large CMYK halftone!
All I need from you in a high quality photo to work with. I will isolate the subject (normally one person/animal only but contact me to discuss if your image includes several figures), and prepare the design (including minor tone adjustments, and preparing the CMYK positives for printing), then print the image for you on B3 (35 x 50 cm) or A3 (29.5 x 42 cm) size
I will offer an edition of 1 print for the cost of £250, but can print additional copies ( up t0 4 copies, for an edition of 5 prints) at the price of £50 per copy.
You can contact me using this form to discuss your project further, with no obligation to buy, or scroll down to proceed with your order by clicking on the “Place your order here” box.
Please note the following specs:
Portrait commission to be done from photo only.
I will require one image per commission, with a clear enough subject to isolate, and with a high enough image quality to work with.
I reserve the right to decline to work with any image for any reason.
I will isolate the subject from the background, and do minor cleaning and adjustments of the image, and prepare a CMYK mock-up on Photoshop.
Unless otherwise agreed, the halftone frequency used will be 5-7 lines per inch and the halftone pattern will be round dots.
I will share this mock-up with the client, and allow one or two round(s) of changes if needed.
I will then prepare the positives and print the edition.
Please note that no further changes are possible from the moment the positives are printed.
All images will be printed using only Cyan magenta Yellow and Black inks using the CMYK printing process.
I offer an edition of one print for the price of £250, with up to 4 additional prints ( for an edition of 5 prints) for £50 per print.
Please note that the Photoshop mock-uk of the design is shared as an indication only. Colours may look slightly different on paper, and registration may vary slightly.
Due to the printing process, minor ink marks may be present on the final prints around the image.
Please note that as the screenprints are handmade, small variations may exist between the prints in the multi-prints editions.
